The perfect glam additions to any celebration and something the whole family can enjoy.

As we head towards the end of another year, New Years’ celebrations will definitely be on our minds. This year’s festivities are sure to be a bit different than most years with online get-togethers and long-distance merrymaking becoming the theme of 2020.

So with this in mind why not try raising a different sort of tipple this year one the entire family, young or old can enjoy. Check out our New Years’ Mocktail creations for tips and tricks this December 31st.

Ingredients

The “why’s the rum gone” mojito mule

  • Handful of fresh mint leaves torn into pieces, plus extra for garnish
  • 200ml of ginger beer
  • Soda water
  • Heaped teaspoon of coconut sugar
  • 70ml (or more) of lime juice
  • Ice

Raspberry and peach booze free bellini

  • Frozen raspberries
  • Peach ice tea (pre made and cold)
  • Soda water
  • Ice
  • Fresh peach or raspberries for garnish

No tequila means no headache at sunrise

  • 200ml orange juice
  • 100ml lemon tonic water
  • 3tbsp grenadine
  • Ice
  • Orange slices to garnish

Instructions

Step 1:

The “why’s the rum gone” mojito mule

  • Crush the mint leaves with the coconut sugar and a little of the lime juice in a pestle and mortar.
  • Add crushed ice to a tall glass and cover with the mint and sugar mixture. Add the rest of the lime and ginger beer, top up with soda water and garnish with mint leaves.

Step 2:

Raspberry and peach booze-free bellini

  • In a large pitcher mix the ice and frozen raspberries, crushing slightly. Add the peach ice tea.
  • Pour into glasses and top up with soda water. Garnish with slices of fresh peach or whole fresh raspberries.

Step 3:

No tequila means no headache at sunrise

  • Place ice in a highball glass followed by orange juice and the lemon tonic water. For an extra kick at this point add a bit of ginger beer.
  • Then pour in the grenadine which will sink to the bottom. Garnish with orange slices.
